This Wednesday, our Mission Friends group will end their mission study emphasis on the Spain Family, missionaries in the snow country of Lake Placid, N.Y., by hosting a snow ball (paper wad) fight in the Fellowship Hall.
We have enjoyed reading and praising God in Psalm 137:1, 16, “Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.” We have read snow stories, made snow flakes, and painted snow pictures, while learning about telling others about Jesus.
The CIA group will be joining us, and anyone else who wants to join us will be welcome. When the truce is called, we will enjoy popcorn and punch. See you there!
